Dear boss hunters!

The time has come for the final farewell contest organized by TibiaBosses.com! After 9 years of shared adventures searching for bosses, learning their mechanics, and uncovering the secrets behind these creatures, we are ready to bid farewell. However, before we disappear and become part of history, we want to create one last unforgettable event for you.

Imagine your favorite boss who has had enough of fighting loot-hungry adventurers, enough of dying repeatedly at the hands of players, and no longer finds joy in causing pain. Finally, they decide to retire. Are they tired? Or maybe, on the contrary, they’re enthusiastically starting a new chapter in their life? We have no idea! Maybe you have some thoughts?

Your task will be to illustrate a boss in retirement. Let your imagination run wild and get to work!

RULES

Competition theme:

  • The theme of the competition is to depict a selected Tibia boss in retirement. The interpretation of the slogan is free. You can depict the boss in a humorous, peaceful or epic way.
  • For the purposes of the competition, we will try to assume that ‘bosses’ include all monsters found in the bosstiary, as well as popular rare bestiary entries such as Yeti, Midnight Panther, Draptor, or Cavebear. If in doubt – ask away!

Conditions of participation:

  • Each participant may submit as many entries as they wish, but only one entry will go through to the finals.
  • The use of multiple accounts is strictly prohibited.
  • The work must be prepared specifically for this contest.
  • We accept hand drawing, digital drawing, and all forms of painting.
  • The competition starts with its announcement and ends on 10.02.2025 with the server safe time. You have up to 3 weeks to complete your drawing!
  • Each entry must include elements such as:
    – in-game nickname and server of the author,
    – title of the work (including name of the boss),
    – brief information about the scene depicted (optional),
    In addition, please include:
    – 3 photos of different stages of the drawing process, which must include a card with the words ‘TibiaBosses.com – “Retired Boss” Contest 2025’.
    – 2 photos showing the final result – one with the card with the words ‘TibiaBosses.com – “Retired Boss” Contest 2025’, the other without it.
    In total, we expect 5 images. No more, no less.
    Design the drawings so that they are one-sided and don’t need more pictures showing the final work. 
    It is important that for digital drawings the ‘TibiaBosses.com – “Retired Boss” Contest 2025’ card is visible on a piece of paper, e.g. held near the screen while the image is taken. The final drawing without a card can be submitted traditionally, as a graphic.

Evaluation criteria:

  • compliance with the theme,
  • creativity and originality,
  • aesthetics of execution.

Final provisions:

  • TibiaBosses.com reserves the right to change the rules during the contest and to inform about it on the #info channel in the category “Retired Boss Contest” on the Discord of the site.
  • Participants can ask questions on the #questions channel.
  • Submission of works to the competition constitutes acceptance of the rules.
  • Submissions will be marked with the appropriate emoji: ❤️ as valid, 💔 as invalid by TibiaBosses.com admin – Makadamia. The organizer is not obliged to directly inform the participant about the status of a given work.
  • The organiser reserves the right to publish and/or use the submitted works on the TibiaFanart.com website and social media.
  • Please be honest and respect copyrights. By submitting an entry, the participant declares that he/she is the author of the work.
    – Submitting works made by third parties regardless of the agreement between the parties will not be accepted.
    – Submitting works made by AI will also not be accepted.
  • TibiaBosses.com team may not participate in this contest.
